I love hearing this, it makes me very, very happy but the game is not available yet. There is still work to be done. Sadly making games without any help is quite a bit of work...

There is not set release date yet. My goal is for about a month and a half, if not even sooner. When all the CGs are drawn and added to the game I will tell you all the final release date.

I hear this game takes place during "The Pataki's" is this true?
Umm...this is a tough one. It does in fact take place when Helga, Arnold, and the gang are in high school. They are all 17 years old to be exact, in their senior year... But does it follow what the Pataki's was supposed to be about? Not really. I make no mention of him moving away or of them having previously dated... This game is like a clean slate really... More details the more you read I swear.

Does this game follow the ending of the Jungle Movie? Have they already gone out?
No, this game has nothing to do with the Jungle Movie and I will tell you why... While I understand "Arnold confessed he loved Helga, they kiss, they get interrupted, they get together... Ta-Da!" I wanted, like I said before, a clean slate...and I mean this more than just for Helga and Arnold... I mean this for people who wanna play who maybe know nothing about the Jungle Movie, or maybe  for the fans that don't really like the idea of it... And while I know tons of you are like "BUT IT'S OFFICIAL!" The way I see it, as long as Arnold and Helga are together at the end... how they got there, as of right now, is up to the fans... So let's have fun with it, huh?

So, you made this game right? Can I make a game too?
Why yes I did! And sure, you can make one too! But let me tell you it's hard work... I made this game with a tool called Ren'py, it's free software and really fun once you get the hang of it.

I hear this thing is voiced? Is that true?
That is 100% true. There are five characters in this game. Helga, Arnold, Gerald, Phoebe, and Lila...and each character has a voice actor to play them.

Okay, but what if I think you all suck at voice acting but I still want to play?
You don't have to uninstall the game just because you don't agree with the voice cast. All you have to do is turn us off in the preferences menu... It's easy to find, it says "Voice" just slide it down until we disappear.

Is Arnold's voice hot?
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! Some people would tell you yes...*cough*cough*Lila's Voice Actor*cough*cough* But that's not exactly how I'd describe it. His voice is very sweet and sincere, and it's deep, but not too deep... He has a certain way of speaking where you could think it was one of the original boys all grown up. In my honest opinion, he sounds a bit like Phillip Van Dyke, who was always my favorite Arnold voice anyway.

How long does this game run for? Am I gonna get bored?
Um, to answer the last question first... If you don't like reading... DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. It's like 95% reading, 5% "OMIGOD WHAT DO I PICK?!?! I WANT THE PERFECT PATH WHAT DO I DO?" And as for how long it runs, one path by itself plays out a little over an hour... There are two different paths, and an epilogue. Thing is, you need to beat both parts of the game in order to play the last part... So that gives you some stuff to do.

You keep calling this game Otome? I hate anime and all that crap... This isn't anime right?
No, there is no anime. This game is done completely in the show's original style. Otome is just a word I use because it perfectly describes the genre of this game. Otome Game, literally maiden game, is targeted for a female audience, where one of the main goals, besides finishing the story...is to hook up with a boy. So, you are Helga, trying to go to the Cheese Festival, while trying to get Arnold to "like you" "like you". Thus, we have an Otome Game ladies and gentlemen!

Right. So...what exactly is this game about... Is it just a date to the Cheese Festival or what?
It's little more than that, I assure you. The game takes place over four days. The first three days determine what path you end up, Perfect or True, and the last day is the actual date to the Festival. And what the game is about? Plot wise, Helga needs to open up and show a little bit of her heart in order to get what she wants... And figures getting Arnold to ask her to the Festival is a good way of going about it.

You keep saying Perfect and True? What's the difference?
The two endings are actually very different. I can't get into may details... But the Perfect Ending is romantic while the True, while still romantic, is more realistic.

I hate romance.

Is there gonna be any music in this game?
Yup. I use all original Hey Arnold background music, except for the ending credits song which we haven't written yet.  

I saw one of the backgrounds you use in an early screen shot... It looks familiar...
Yes, some of the backgrounds were redrawn from various screen shots from the show. Why did I do this? Frankly because if I didn't...this game would never, ever, ever, in a million, trillion years, be finished. That, and it actually gives the game a more "HA" feel. If this seriously bothers you, you don't have to play... But I gotta say that's a pretty pathetic reason.

Wait, there's gonna be an epilogue? What's that about?
